HArmonyCA® is a hybrid biostimulator - a single advanced injectable that combines hyaluronic acid with calcium hydroxyapatite. The hyaluronic acid provides immediate improvement in volume and definition, while the calcium hydroxyapatite works progressively to stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production over time.
THE SCIENCE.
HArmonyCA® is a dual-effect injectable that combines two active components to deliver both immediate and progressive results.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring molecule found throughout the skin and connective tissue - and the same ingredient used in most dermal fillers. It provides immediate improvement in volume and definition, smoothing fine lines and softening the skin, while also acting as a carrier for the calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres.
Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) is a biocompatible substance that, once injected, forms a supportive framework within the dermis, while stimulating fibroblast activity and promoting new collagen and elastin production over time.
This process strengthens and supports the skin, improving firmness, elasticity, and overall structural integrity. Over time, the calcium hydroxyapatite is gradually resorbed and the hyaluronic acid metabolised, leaving behind a network of newly formed collagen supporting results that are sustained and naturally integrated within the tissue.
INDICATIONS.
HArmonyCA® is suited to individuals beginning to notice a softening of facial support, particularly through the mid to lower face. This may present as reduced support through the cheeks, early jowling, or a gradual loss of definition along the jawline.
THE TREATMENT.
HArmonyCA® is tailored to the individual, with treatment areas carefully selected to restore volume and support facial contours, maintaining balance and harmony throughout the face.
It is a well-tolerated treatment, formulated with a local anaesthetic to support comfort, with numbing cream applied beforehand if desired. The product is placed using a cannula, allowing for controlled, even distribution within the tissue. You may experience a mild stinging sensation or a feeling of pressure, though this is typically brief. The treatment itself is typically completed within 30-45 minutes.

WHAT TO EXPECT.

PRE-TREATMENT
Prior to your treatment, you will complete a medical history - including any previous dermal filler or biostimulatory treatments - to ensure treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
To help minimise bruising, avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand and limit caffeine on the day where possible. Advanced skin treatments such as chemical peels, IPL, or microdermabrasion should be avoided for two weeks prior.
It is also recommended to allow at least two weeks between any dental procedures or vaccinations and treatment.

POST-TREATMENT
It is normal to experience slight unevenness or small areas of fullness at the injection sites immediately following treatment, which typically settle within 12–24 hours as the product begins to integrate within the tissue.
Mild redness, swelling, tenderness, warmth, or slight stinging may also occur and generally resolves within a few days, with mild swelling occasionally lasting slightly longer.
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid excessive pressure, strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat exposure, including saunas and steam rooms. If needed, a cool compress can be applied to the area to help minimise any swelling or discomfort.
Facials, massage, advanced skin treatments, dental procedures, and vaccinations should be postponed for at least two weeks following treatment.
3.
RESULTS & LONGEVITY
HArmonyCA® delivers both immediate definition and longer-term skin rejuvenation.
Immediately following treatment, an improvement in volume and definition is visible due to the hyaluronic acid component. The calcium hydroxyapatite continues to stimulate collagen production for up to three months post-treatment, gradually strengthening the skin and enhancing overall structure.
As this process progresses, improvements in firmness, elasticity, and structural integrity become more apparent, with full results typically seen at around twelve weeks.
Results typically last 12–18 months, depending on individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to support ongoing structural integrity and facial balance.

RISKS & POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
HArmonyCA® is considered a safe and well-established treatment when performed appropriately. However, as with any injectable procedure, risks and possible side effects can occur.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or mild discomfort at the injection sites may occur following treatment and typically settle within a few days. Slight unevenness may also be experienced as the product integrates within the tissue.
Less commonly, delayed swelling, infection, hypersensitivity reactions, or small nodules beneath the skin may occur. Vascular complications are rare but serious, and require immediate assessment. Treatments are performed with advanced clinical training and carefully considered protocols to ensure any complications are recognised and managed appropriately.
